In December 2017 I was commissioned to provide content and marketing services for Google Small Business, through my instagram account @milliethegolden. My goal was to highlight small businesses in my local community, and bring attention to the essential services they provide. I was directed to choose my favorite locally owned businesses in Bellingham, and create photo content featuring millie visiting each one. I chose my favorite local coffee shop, and my local camera store. The Instagram posts I provided resulted in over 150,000 Impressions on Instagram, providing a boost in brand awareness to not only Google, but the small businesses featured in the campaign.
